Beneficiaries

MACH1Health MACH OneHealth hosts free bimonthly foot care clinics for people experiencing housing insecurity, where guests can receive podiatry care and/or have a warm foot-bath. If needed, each guest may select free shoes and/or socks when available. They have also recently launched a weekly medical street outreach program, where clean socks are a frequent request!
<“https://govprograms.madison.k12.wi.us/TEP”>Transition Education Program TEP works with Madison school families experiencing homelessness or high levels of mobility. They provide a wide variety of services to qualifying children, including helping make sure everyone has clean, seasonally-appropriate clothing.
Santas Without Chimneys Santas Without Chimneys, our sibling-initiative from the Autonomous Solidarity Organization, brings holiday gifts to homeless children in and around Madison. Each child receives books, a blanket, and three wishes. Socks are not a very common request, thankfully, but we’d never say no to Santa!
Project Babies (TNT) Project Babies, of the nonprofit Today Not Tomorrow,  seeks to fulfill the needs of Madison’s youngest residents. From strollers and carseats to diapers and socks, they (try to!) do it all.

Does your Madison-area agency need access to a supply of fresh socks? Please contact us at MSE@madisonsock.exchange . Agencies must be not-for-profit and serve individuals experiencing homelessness.
